William S. “Bill” Matejewski

Canton- William S. “Bill” Matejewski, 81, of Canton, passed away at 8:18 PM on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at his residence. He was born on June 4, 1943 in Canton, a son of William and Zelma (Yocum) Matejewski. He married Miriam Lea Mares on June 6, 2009 in Canton. She preceded him in death.

Also, preceding Bill in death were his parents, and brother, Michael Matejewski.

Surviving Bill is a step-daughter, Melissa (Steve) Howell of Pekin, and a sister Sandra Schultz of Lewistown.

Bill worked and retired as a CNA, working for nursing homes in the area. He also was a veteran of the United States Army.
