Sandra Bonney

Lewistown- Sandra Bonney, 78, of Lewistown, passed away at 3:30 AM on Thursday, February 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 30, 1946 in Canton, a daughter of Dean and Ila (Snider) Johnson. She married George L. Bonney on July 5, 1964 in Canton. He preceded her in death on October 9, 2017. Also, preceding Sandra in death were her parents.

Surviving are her children, Kevin (Leigh Ann) Bonney of Lewistown; Scott (Tammy) Bonney of Canton; three grandchildren, Tyler, Adam, and Austin (Robyn) Bonney; two great-grandchildren, Hadley, and Karson; a brother, and two sisters.

Sandra worked with her husband, George on the family farm. She was the founder of Friends of 4-H, and their livestock auction at the Fulton County fair, member of Fulton County Farm Bureau, pork producers, several cattle breed associations, and the Liverpool drainage commissioner.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory. Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation. Burial of ashes will take place in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. Memorials can be made to the Friends of 4-H.
