Shirley worked at many places over the years from Ben Franklin to Cilco in the Farmington office to Hiram Walkers to Kmart (in Arizona and Illinois). She was active in the American Legion Auxiliary, Women of the Moose, United Methodist Church and an Election Judge for several years.
She loved her Chicago Cubs, going to Spring Training in Arizona for many years. If you are ever up to Wrigley field, look for a sidewalk paver with her name. She also enjoyed penny slots and card club. Most of all, Shirley’s joy was spending time with her family and friends. She especially loved celebrating life. She was recently blessed with a milestone 90th birthday party with family and friends. Her smiles and laughs that day reflected a life well lived.
