She was born on September 17, 1957 in Peoria to James and Wanda (Sering) Driscoll.
She married Brian Shawgo on June 25, 1983 in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving is her daughter, Regina (David Wiseman) Shawgo of Hanna City and two sisters, Pat Largent of Brimfield and Marilyn Huslander of East Peoria.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild, Colton Shawgo Wiseman.
Janice retired from Graham Hospital in Canton in 2020 as the business clerk.
She loved to go antiquing, riding horses, motorcycles, four wheelers and animals, especially cats.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 4-6 pm at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. There will be no funeral. Cremation rites will follow the visitation.
Memorials may be made to Fulton County Humane Society.
