He was born on November 16, 1953 in Canton to Lloyd E. Leezer Sr and Maxine E. (Cox) Leezer.
Surviving is his mother, his life partner of 40 years, Michael Crane, his beloved pet Teddy, sister, Marla Jo Hedden, nephews and nieces, Doug (Patty) Bergstralh, Mike (Sandy) Bergstralh, Jeff (Heather) Bergstralh, Tom (Calista) Hedden, Kandi (Jason) Maggio, Becky (Darren) Sherwood, many great and great great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, one sister, Martha Bergstralh, brother-in-law, Neil Bergstralh, brother-in-law, Bill Hedden and his precious pets, Kallie, DanDee and Minnee.
Lloyd Eldon retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 37 years of service. He loved singing karaoke and was active in various chorale groups including, Peoria Civic Chorale, Peoria Players Madrigals, Morton Civic Chorus and the ICC Phil Harmonic Chorale. He enjoyed going to garage sales and also liked cooking, gardening and Canning.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 at 11 am, at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with a visitation held one hour prior at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Canton.
