Phillip G. Anderson

Canton- Phillip G. Anderson, 79, of Canton, passed away at 12:13 PM on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Canton. He was born on March 12, 1943 in Canton, a son of Gerald and Irene (Lampkin) Anderson. He married Nellie Brown on December 23, 1978. She preceded him in death.

Surviving are his children, Bradley Anderson; Christina Foster; Phillip Anderson; David Anderson, and Ruby Juska; five grandchildren, Sid Anderson, Selena, Asher, and Delaney Juska, and Shirley Anderson; three sisters, Judy Haynes, Janice Copeland, both of Pekin, and Joyce Watson of Port Saint Lucie, Florida.

Phillip worked and retired from the Plasters and Concrete Masons Union #1, and he served his country serving in the United States Navy.

Per Phillip’s wishes, there will be no services, and cremation rites will be accorded through Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton. Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. To leave online condolences please visit www.sedgwickfuneralhomes.com
