Kathlene was preceded in death by brothers, Allen Moore and William Adrian Moore; sisters, Eilene Brumfield and Darlene O’Keefe; her first husband, Jim OKeefe in 2000 and second husband, John Lohfink in 2019. She loved to travel and socialize with her many friends and neighbors. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and attended many home games in her earlier years. She also loved pets, especially her dogs, Snickers and Heidi.
Survivors include her nieces, Kim (Chris) Zorn, Patty (Lincoln) Puckett, and P J (Dave) Merlock; nephews, Rick Foster, Gary (Sandy) Foster, and William Brumfield; many great and great-great-nieces and nephews the last of which is her great-great niece Allie Pennington born January 11, 2023.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with Funeral Services commencing at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Strang Funeral Home, 1055 Main St., Antioch Illinois. A graveside service will be held at Bath Cemetery, Bath, IL at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2023. Rev. Carol Stufflebeam will officiate.
