Canton – Barbara L. Covey, 68, of Canton passed away at 3:05 pm, Monday, January 31, 2023 at the Loft Nursing Home in Canton. She was born on September 25, 1954 in Pekin to Robert Walter and Nancy Grace (Ewing) Carr. She married Joseph Covey and he survives along with her two daughters; Angie (William) Stauthammer of Peoria and Penny (Jay) Glidewell of Pekin, one brother Dale Whitmore and four grandchildren; Jordan, Lily, Ashlynn and Hope.
Preceding her in death were her parents and step father Junior Whitmore.
