Ethel was born October 10, 1914 in Beardstown, Illinois. She was the daughter of John Henry and Alice
Louise (Kelly) Duchardt. She married Joseph Richard Dworak on September 6th, 1958, in Watseka Illinois;
(he preceded her in death). She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother John Kelly
Duchardt Sr; one sister Dolores Agnes Dusch; one nephew John Kelly Duchardt Jr; and one great nephew, John David Duchardt.
She is survived by two nephews, Charles Eugene Duchardt and David Duchardt; Great Nephew Doug Duchardt; four Great Nieces, Stacy Rogagna, Gretchen Petrunich, Megan Donnelli, Heather Duchardt; and many great-great nephews
and nieces that adored her.
She was a member of Villa Grove United Methodist Church, and she loved her Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ.
Ethel was a very special, smart and strong woman: surviving many health issues over the years, including
typhoid fever, polio, measles, and colon cancer. She was able to live in her own home until just a few
years ago.
She graduated from Villa Grove High School. She was employed at Franklin Life Insurance Company for
10 years, and employed at John Hancock as a loan closing specialist for farm and corporation loans in
Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin for 34 years.
She was a member of Canton Country Club, Elks Lodge and Moose Club.
She had many talents and hobbies, including Antiques Study Group of Champaign Illinois, Gardening:
providing flowers for the tables at Senior Centers, a member of the Quilting Club with the Methodist
Church of Champaign. She loved Ballroom Dancing, and playing cards with friends and family.
Private Burial at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton, IL will be arranged by Sedgwick Funeral Homes and Crematory in Canton, IL at a later date.
