Ronnie Lee Goodwin

Ronnie Lee Goodwin, 79, of Hanna City, passed away at 6:15 AM on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL. He was born on April 28, 1947 in Peoria, IL, to Howard and Shirley (Hatton) Goodwin. He married Robbie Rogers on December 29, 1987 in Peoria, IL. She preceded him in death on October 11, 2018.

He is also preceded in death by his parents.

Ronnie is survived by two children, Kristina (Stanley) Halter of Germantown Hills, IL, Timothy (Debra) Goodwin of Colorado Springs, CO; one step-son, Bryan (Michelle) Van Lanningham of Princeville, IL; five grandchildren, Aulexandra Goodwin, Joshua Halter, Austin Van Lanningham, Brandon Van Lanningham, and Jacie Halter; one sister, Nancy (Bob) Everette; one nephew, Bradley Everette; one great niece. Samantha Everette; and one great nephew, Jackson Everette. 

Ronnie worked at retired from Caterpillar in the tool crib after 31 years. He was a member of the Bartonville American Legion. He enjoyed collecting eagles. He also loved to be with his grandkids.

Cremation rites will be accorded with Endsley-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Bartonville, IL. Burial will take place at a later date at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria, IL. Memorials may be made to OSF Hospice. To leave an online condolence you may go to www.sedgwickfuneralhomes.com
