Kenneth C. Doubet, 79, of rural Elmwood, passed away at 11:03 a.m., on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 27, 1943, in Peoria, to Cloyd and Kathryn (Gangloff) Doubet. He married Linda Bridson on June 14, 1969, in Brimfield. She survives.
She is also survived by seven children, Lisa (Scott) Twidwell of Princeville, Lori (the late Andrew) Simmons of Princeville, Angie (Rob) Renfroe of Hanna City, Kim (Chris) Estes of Elmwood, Carrie (Eddie Skinner) Doubet of Washington, Kristina Doubet of Yates City, and Nicholas (Cindy) Doubet of Peoria; and eleven grandchildren.
Kenneth served in the Army Reserves after high school. He was a lifelong farmer.
Per his request, cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services at this time.
