Occupation:    Mike was a graduate of Triopia High School in Concord, IL.  He worked at Caterpillar in Peoria, IL, was an over the road trucker for Star Trucking, and worked at Gorsuch Appliance.  He then went to work for the Illinois Dept. of Transportation for 20 years, working as a Bridge Tender at the Franklin Street Bridge in Peoria and when closed, was transferred to Fulton County and worked as a Highway Maintainer and MMI, retiring in 2008.

Memberships:   Mike was a founding member of the Harley Davison Museum in Milwaukee, WI.  He was a member of the Astoria Fire and Rescue Squad, working as an EMT.  He was a member of the Teamsters and coached his children’s youth ball teams.  He was an avid Harley Davison rider.
