Betty E. Bair

Canton – Betty E. Bair, 84, of Canton died at 11:57 a.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at Heartland Healthcare Center in Canton.
She was born July 9, 1931, in Manito to Lawernce and Helen (Woodley) Hoffman.  She married Walter N. Bair on April 6, 1963, in Cuba.  He survives.
Also surviving are four children, Michele (Doug) Olson of Canton, Michael (Chelle) Bair of Canton, Danny (Lesa) Hoffman Sr. of Fiatt, and Bruce (Paula) Bair of Bartonville; seven grandchildren, Danny Hoffman Jr., Ann Marie Pasley, Emily Koch, Ashlee Bair, Halle Bair, Chelsea Olson, and Taylor Long; and seven great-grandchildren, Maliki Pasley, Isaah Pasley, Noah Pasley, Kolton Koch, Kason Koch, Alice Long, and Josie Long.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, George, Roy, Lawernce, and Harold; and three great-grandchildren, Debbie, Charles, and Frank.
Betty was a homemaker.  She enjoyed traveling with her husband and attending the St. Louis Cardinals training camp.  She attended TOPS and was a 50-year member of the Royal Neighbors of America.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2016, at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton, where visitation will be held one hour prior to services.  Burial will be at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Harbor Light Hospice, or to Heartland Health Care Center.
