Farmington – Margaret E. Reissen, 87, of Farmington, IL passed away at 2:30 PM Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at her residence.
She was born May 28, 1927 in Sedalia, MO to Paul and Lilly (Lind) Fiedler.
Margaret married John Reissen on August 21, 1948 in Sedalia and he died May 31, 1988.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; son, James A. Reissen Sr.; grandson, Dennis “Bucky” Smith; brother, Paul Fiedler; and sister, Hazel Fiedler.
Surviving are nine children, Margaret Harmon of Sedalia, MO, Clara Johnson of Washington, IL, Catherine (David) Sizek of Norris, Carolyn Herrick of Peoria, John (Connie) Reissen Jr. of Canton, Rose (Bob L.) Smith of Creve Coeur, Norma (Dave) Williams of Fort Myers, FL, Paul Reissen of London Mills, and Robert Reissen of Canton; twenty grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; brother, Charles of Sedalia, MO; step-brother, Robert Brown of Kansas City, MO; and sisters, Clara Paxton and Mary Mullens both of Sedalia, MO.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Burial of ashes will be at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Farmington Rescue Squad #1100.
