Kent Stuckey

Canton - Kent Stuckey, 52, of Canton, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Unity Point Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born on May 22, 1962 in Canton, to Warner “Gene” and Mary Huff Stuckey.
He married Sharon Gathmann on March 3, 2004, in Lewistown.  She preceded him in death on January 22, 2006.
Surviving are his father, Gene; his step-mother Donna; one daughter, Stephanie (Keith) Foulk of Canton; two grandchildren, Kase and Kolten Foulk; three uncles, Jim Huff, Raymond Huff, and Richard Stuckey; one aunt, Karen (Mike) Stufflebean; and several cousins.
He was also preceded in death by his mother, Mary Alexander.
Kent graduated from Rushville High School and then Southern Illinois University. He worked for ALCOA in Princeville and later worked for Walmart in Canton. He enjoyed planting in his back yard and collecting toy tractors.  Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2015, from 2-4 pm, at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with a funeral service on Monday, at 11 am at the funeral home.
Burial will be held at the White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.
Memorials may be made to an education fund for his grandchildren C/O Wells Fargo Bank.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the ICU staff at Unity Point Methodist and Unity Point Proctor.
