Timothy Goforth

Timothy C. Goforth, 72, of Havana, passed away, June 16, 2024, at his home in Havana.

He was born in Canton, to Robert and Nellie (Rakestraw) Goforth. They preceded him in death as well as an infant brother Shawn Goforth.

Tim is survived by his wife Cathy (White) Goforth, whom he married on September 25, 2018.

Also surviving are two children, Valerie (Steve) Streiff of Middle Boro Mass, Michael Goforth of Pharr Texas, step sons, Joshua Budyn of Havana, and Jeremiah Budyn of Havana, grandchildren, Sara Streiff, Edward Streiff, and Lily Streiff, adopted grandchildren, Henry Budyn, and Ava Budyn, siblings, Bobbie Sue (Terry) Thornton of Elmwood, and Brian (Lori) Goforth of Canton, and mother-in-law, Mary Smith of Havana.

Tim retired from Lonza in Mapleton after 30 years of service. He was also previously a police officer in Havana. He is a Veteran of the Untied States Army. He served as Military Police during the Vietnam War.

Cremation rites will be accorded. A burial of his ashes will be held at a later date.
