Ricky W. Stockman, Jr.

Ricky William Stockman Jr. 52, passed away on June 15, 2024 surrounded by family at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. He was born March 13, 1972 in Canton, IL to Ricky William Stockman, Sr. and the late Lillie Jane (Wright) Stockman.

Preceding him in death are his Mother: Lillie Jane (Wright) Stockman, 2 Sisters: Deborah Gayle Myers, Laurie Beth Johnson, and his grandparents. Surviving are his parents: Father: Ricky W Stockman Sr., Mother: Barbara (Budd) Stockman, Wife: Charity (Bitner) Stockman, 1 Daughter: Kimmie Bitner, 1 Son: Colby Wolfe, 2 grandkids, 4 Sisters: Christie (Stockman) Montgomery & John Montgomery, Angie (Johnson) Slater, Kathy Johnson, Marianne (Stockman) Farmiga & Alexander Farmiga, and 2 Brothers: Greg Myers, Kurtis Stockman.
Ricky worked in construction at various odd jobs and had a talent for reviving bikes. He had a passion for music, western movies, and cherished time with family. He was smart, loved to joke around and told funny stories. He loved his wife deeply. His warm spirit and charisma left an indelible mark on those around him, and he will be dearly missed.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Assembly of God Church, 121 E. Arch St. Mason City, Illinois 62664, visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Pastor James Sprinkel will be officiating.
