He was born on January 7, 1960 in TN to Robert and Shirley (DeGroot) Smith. They preceded him in death along with his step father, Edgar Seward and one sister, Jeaneen Hardy.
Surviving are his brothers, Ronald Smith of Norris, Timothy Seward of Canton, Terry Seward of Canton and sister, Roberta Johnston of Canton and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Kelly served in the U.S. Army for 9 years and later worked for Fulton County Rehabilitation Center in Canton. He enjoyed attending the events at Camp Big Sky.
Cremation rites have been accorded through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton and a burial of his ashes with military honors will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 11am, at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.
Memorials may be made to Fulton County Rehabilitation Center.
