She was born in Peoria Illinois, on August 26, 1942, to Benjamin and Vira (Rowe) Willms. They preceded her in death as well as one son, Timothy Moyers, and two brothers.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 52 years, William E. “Bill” Moyers. They were married on March 16, 1972. Also surviving are three children, David (Diane) Scott, Diane (Colby) Rude, and Andrew (Magaly) Moyers, five step children, eighteen grandchildren, and twenty-eight great grandchildren.
Sharon was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. The most important thing to her was her family.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
