She was born on December 27, 1936, in Havana, to Lee Roy Towery, and Sylvia (Peters). They preceded her in death along with twelve brothers and sisters.
She married Jerry Edwards, in Havana on August 1, 1953. He also preceded her in death in 2020.
She is survived by three sons, Terry (Karen) Edwards, Rick (Sharon) Edwards, and Brian (Dawn) Edwards, one sister, Bessie Gietl, seven grandchildren, Nathan, Paul (Cathey), Brittany (Steve), Kaitlyn (Nick), Ben, Samantha (Dave), and Michelle (Daniel), and thirteen great grandchildren.
Lib retired from K-Mart in Canton. She was one of Jehovah’s Witness’s belonging to the Kingdom Hall in Canton. She enjoyed attending Bluegrass festivals, camping fishing and frying fish.
A graveside burial of ashes will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton.
