He was born on April 30, 1945 in Canton to John and Jessie (Gilmore) Gardner.
He married Brenda Selph on November 21, 1963 in Lewistown. She survives.
Also surviving are their children, Penny (Adam) Gerard of Varna, Bob (Mary) Gardner Jr of Waterloo, Carrie (Tim) Archdale of Cuba, grandchildren, Elizabeth (Chris) Monckton, Sarah (David) Hertzner, Kacie (Scott) Shaeffer, Kelsey (Brandon) Kinney, Nick (Christy) Lafary, Dylan Gardner, Daniel (Kennedy) Gardner, fourteen great grandchildren, brothers, Harold Gardner of Canton and Kenny Gardner of Park City, UT.
Bob served in the U.S. Marine Corp and later worked at Caterpillar Tractor Co from 1967 – 2000. He was a member of the Cuba American Legion. Bob had a passion for vintage cars and enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels cars.
Cremation rites have been accorded through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. There will be no services.
Memorials may be made to Gi Gi’s Playhouse.
