She was born in Dyersville, Iowa on August 7th, 1935, a daughter of the late Emil and Eliza (Vorwald) Weber. She grew up in the Garnavillo area where she attended school and met her future husband, Orville S. Schnieder. They were married on July 2nd,1951 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. A union enduring nearly 73 years.
Pat was truly a wonderful wife and mother whose life centered around her family. She was someone her children and grandchildren could always turn to for advice, comfort, and love.
She will forever be remembered by her husband, Orville; children Orv (Linda) Schnieder of Hopewell, Luann (the late John) Grigsby of Canton, Lori (Gary) Perschbacher of Clinton, IN, and Paula (Charles Burchett) Schnieder of Peoria; grandchildren Chris Driscoll, Samantha O’Brien, Justin, Ryan, & Sarah Burt, Sarah Strode, Amy Reed, and Aaron Perschbacher; seven great-grandchildren; and one brother Bob (Judy) Weber of Anamosa, IA. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Debra; sister, Shirley Swisher; and brother, Leon Weber.
Per Pat’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Cremation rites will be accorded through Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Susan G. Komen of Central Illinois.
