She was born August 30, 1942 at Havana, the daughter of Edgar Allen and Hazel Fern (Cooper) Hart. She married Gordon W. Royer on April 12, 1957. He died January 30, 2005. Survivors include two daughters, Linda (Ali) Mansour of Haymarket, VA; Penny (Tony Tart) Klinedinst of Peoria, two sons, Wayne (Nancy) Royer of Macomb, Robert (Kristy) Royer of Havana, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, one brother, Willie Hart of Oklahoma, and one sister, Louise Owens of Oklahoma.
Betty was a housekeeper and child sitter for many years. She was a member of the Illinois Street Christian Church in Lewistown, and a former member of the Church of the Brethren in Astoria.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday September 11, 2023 at Woodland Cemetery at rural Astoria. There will be no visitation. Condolences may be made at henrylange.com
