Ronald Schmidt, 69, of Canton, passed away at 11:57 am, Monday, August 28, 2023 at the Graham Hospital in Canton, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on March 8, 1954 to Harley and Nelda (Manion) Schmidt. Ronald married Robin Garren on June 14, 1980 in Canton. She survives along with three sons; Aaron Schmidt of Peoria Heights, Ethan Schmidt and Ean Schmidt both of Canton and two sisters; Donna (Rick) Hood of Cuba and Brenda (Craig) Ford of Seville. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Michael Schmidt and Jim Schmidt and sister Connie Schmidt.Ronald retired from Morton Metal Craft as a welder and was a member of the Peoria ABATE.
