Charles "Charlie" W. Miller

Charles “Charlie” W. Miller, 81, of Easton passed away at 10:22 a.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Mason District Hospital. He was born on August 26, 1940 in Lincoln, Illinois to Henry and Doyne (Shipp) Miller. He married Sharon Leithoff on November 20, 1982 at the Havana Baptist Church.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Sharon Miller of Easton, children: Tony (Judy) Miller of Easton, Rhonda (Mark) Broy of Morton, and Teresa (Don) Quinones of Havana, step-children: Lisa (Mike) Hamor of Havana, Lorie (Alan) Monroe of Ft. Meyers, Florida, Leann (Rick) Bonnett of Havana, Gary Bahl, Jr. of Chicago, and Anita Pritchard of Hanover Park, Illinois, sixteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and sister, Mary Lynn of Easton. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Esther Hazel and Wilma Miller.
Mr. Miller drove a truck for Landstar for many years.
August 26th would have been his 82nd birthday. As many of you know Charlie loved a good party., so his family is holding a Celebration of Life on his birthday at Don and Teresa Quinones' house, starting at 5:00 p.m. Everyone is asked to wear John Deere attire or dress in green to show the love that he had for farming and John Deere tractors. Food, iced tea and lemonade will be provided. Bring your own beer. One of Charlie's favorite local bands, Double Shot Duo, will be playing from 6-10. The pool will be open.
Memorial donations may be made in Mr. Miller’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Mason District Hospital. Online condolences can be left for his family at www.hurleyfh.com.
