Canton - Orville L. Hartline Sr., 88, of Canton, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022, at Graham hospital in Canton.
He was born on March 15, 1934, in Mt. Glenn Illinois, to Archie and Doretta (O'Daniele) Hartline. They preceded him in death.He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Sue (Dehart) Hartline. They were married on April 10, 1956
Also surviving is one son, Orville L. (Mary Beth Bruketta) Hartline Jr. of Lewistown, one brother Lester (Pat) Hartline of Marian Illinois, and his dog Danny Boy
Also preceding him in death is one daughter, Donna Renee Hartline, one brother, Junior Monroe Hartline, and four sisters, Alena, Rosalene, Gladys and Thelma.
Orville is a Veteran of the United States Army. He served in the Korean War as a Medic. He retired from Caterpillar in East Peoria in 1991. He enjoyed attending Church with his wife at Wesley United Methodist Church. Orville enjoyed fishing, hunting and mushrooming. He especially loved watching St. Louis Cardinal Baseball.
A private family burial will take place at Casper Cemetery in Anna Illinois
