Milton "Mike" Earl Hasty of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away April 18, 2022, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 85. He was born May 9, 1936, in Mackinaw, Illinois, the son of Harold and Haldene Hanes Hasty. Mike served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a graduate of Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, and was in the insurance industry for over 35 years. He married Martha McCario on November 16, 1984, in Las Vegas, Nevada and was an independent insurance agent. Mike lived in Mountain Home since moving from Canton, Illinois from 2014. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Mountain Home. He enjoyed a project, including building a sunroom, shed, and rebuilding a roadster.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Martha L. Hasty of Mountain Home, AR; two granddaughters, Jill and Tiffany; and a great-granddaughter, Emma.He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Judith Barton; and two sons, Milton Craig Hasty and Timothy Earl Hasty.
A Celebration of Life will be 3:00 pm, Monday, April 25, 2022, at the First Presbyterian Church, with Reverend Mike Clark officiating. Burial will be in the Mackinaw Cemetery, Mackinaw, Illinois.
