Elizabeth A. Maxson


Canton – Elizabeth A. “Liz” Maxson, 75, of Canton passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016 at her residence.  She was born on
April 18, 1941 in Canton to Harry and Dale (Sprecher) Hamilton.
Surviving is one daughter Dawn (Chuck) Mulligan, two brothers; Richard (Kathie) Hamilton of Cuba and Charles Hamilton of Plainfield, two grandsons; Payton and Sammy Mulligan and her dog Odie Boy.
Preceding her in death were her parents, sister-in-law Ann Hamilton, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Liz retired from Star Delivery and Transport, where she worked in the office.  She was a member of Locust Lane United Methodist Church, enjoyed reading and playing solitary.  Her pride and joy were her grandsons and loved to watch them play sports.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 pm Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Locust Lane United Methodist Church in rural Canton with the Rev. Terry Westerfield officiating.  Celebration of Life will be held two hours prior to services at the church on Tuesday.  Cremation rites have been accorded as her wishes.  Memorials can be made to her family c/o of CEFCU.  Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
