Ross D. Sprague, Jr.

Ross D. Sprague Jr., 98, of Canton, passed away, Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at the Loft Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Canton. He was born on February 26, 1925, in Fulton County, to Ross D. Sprague Sr. and Fern (Milner). They preceded him in death. Along with two brothers, Dayton and Eldon Sprague. Ross married Mary Sprague on March 30, 1946. She preceded him in death on January 13, 2004. He is survived by one daughter, Carol J. Hook of Canton, and one granddaughter, Angela Sprague. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy serving in World War II. Ross loved animals, watching horse racing and other television programs, and being out and about socializing around town. A Graveside service will be held on Monday March 13, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton. Memorials may be made to Fulton County Humane Society.
