He was born June 9, 1963 at Canton, the son of Wayne and Elva (O’Bryant) Bainter. He married Shelly Behymer in 1994 at Lewistown. Survivors include two daughters, Nikole and Abigail Bainter both of Lewistown, two grandchildren, Morgan and Avery Massey, and six brothers, Carroll Bainter, Marvin (June) Bainter, Lindell (Sara) Bainter, Jerry (Janeile) Bainter, David (Kathy) Bainter, and Kevin Bainter , all of Lewistown. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Rip owned and operated Bainter’s Garage for 18 years. He enjoyed fishing, snow mobiling, mowing grass, listening to music, building race cars, and watching the Jeff Dunham Comedy Shows. He loved spending time with his kids, grandkids, and his dogs.
A private family graveside service will be held on Thursday March 23, 2023 at Oak Hill Cemetery with Pastor Brian Ebert officiating. A public visitation will be held on Wednesday March 22, 2023 from 5-7 pm at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital.
