He was born on November 11, 1942, in Detroit, MI to Joseph and Janette (Shields) LaRiviere. They preceded him in death.
He married Sally Murray on February 1, 1964, in Allen Park, MI. She survives.
Also surviving is his daughter, Christine (David) Clark of Chino, CA, two grandchildren, Cirsten (Colton) Underwood, Allen Clark and one great grandchild, Cooper Underwood.
Allen moved to Peoria to work for Edward Hine Company. He was self- employed in laser sales, he was an Aircraft and Powerplant Mechanic, a Journeyman web press operator and had a Certified Manufacturing Engineering Degree. Together with his wife they owned and operated Al’s Hobby and Craft Shop in Peoria.
Cremation rites have been accorded through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton and there will be no services.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
