Surviving Nell is her mother; her dearly loved Uncle, John Tomlinson, whom helped raise her; her two children, KaraJo (Shiloh Vanmiddlesworth) Thomas of Canton, and Gregory L. Vaultonburg of Lewistown; nine grandchildren, Chase, Dale, Gaige, Asher, Logan, Trapper, Jason, Kole, and Emery; extra- grandchildren that she dearly loved; several nieces and nephews; three brothers, Rodney Coffey of Kansas, Rick Henderson of Bryant, and Billy Whitman of Du Quoin, IL; and her two sisters, Jody Brown of Missouri, and Jan (Jake) Jenkins of Canton.
Preceding her in death was her father; her brother, Phillip; and her sister, Tess Whitman.
Nell worked for 35 years as a CNA for Graham Hospital and for Home Health. She later worked as an Activities Assistant for The Loft Rehabilitation and Nursing of Canton. Nell enjoyed many things in her life, including Nascar Races, Harley Davidson motorcycles, and flower gardens. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandma, niece, aunt, and cousin.
Per Nells wishes, cremation rites will be accorded with Sedgwick Funeral Homes and Crematory. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Goose Pit in Banner.
