Kimberly L. Green

Kimberly Lynn Green 59, of Petersburg, IL passed away at her home on Saturday, March 11, 2023. She was born in Mt. Vernon, IL on January 13, 1964 to Ted Burton and Donna Marlow. She married Keith Green on October 20, 1987, in Petersburg, IL.

Kim is survived by her husband, Keith; her mother Donna (Loren) Brumley; her children, Karla Green of Mason City, Samantha Green, and Kelley Green both of Petersburg; her grandchildren, Summer, Ethan, Sawyer, Emma, Carter, Waylon, Avery; siblings David Burton of Springfield, and Jean Hudron of Virginia; and her nieces and nephews, Jacob, Lacy, Emily, Lydia, Erica, and Nicole. Kim was preceded in death by her father, Ted Burton; her sister Kristel Burton; her children, infant twins Jarod and Allen, and her daughter Danielle Green.
Kim enjoyed crocheting, painting and taking care of people. She had worked as a caregiver for over 30 years, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
A memorial visitation will be held for Kim on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. Memorials may be made to a funeral fund in Kim’s name at Alliance Bank to help with expenses.
