John Lee Herriford

John Lee Herriford, 79, of Canton, passed away at 5:45 pm, Thursday, March 9, 2023 at his residence. He was born on August 7, 1943 in Canton to John and Ruby (Hughes) Herriford. They preceded her death along with his partner Peggy Brady and son Rodney Brady.

Surviving are four children; Hope (Angelo) Tipton, Patrick Brady and Tonya (David) Watkins all of London Mills and Gerald (Kelly) Mitchell of Abingdon, daughter in law Tammy Brady of London Mills, two brothers; Jim Herriford of Canton and Joseph Herriford of Rockville, TN and sister Brenda Hadsall of Grayslake, ten grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

John worked for IHC/Navistar retiring in 1993. He was a 23-year volunteer fireman for London Mills Fire Department. John loved music, dancing and just going for long drives.

Visitation will be from 1-2 pm Friday, March17, 2023 at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton. Private burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown. Memorials can be made to the London Mills Volunteer Fire Department. To leave online condolence, please visitwww.oakshinesfuneralhome.com.
