Karen L. Dean

Karen L. Dean, 74, of Farmington, passed away at 10:20 p.m., on Monday, March 13, 2023, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born December 13, 1948, in Peoria to Howard and Georgia (Schnetzler) Forrester.

She is survived by two children, Michael (Michele) Dean of Peyton, CO, and Robert (Lisa) Dean of Orange Park, FL; three sisters, Shirley (Brad) Dilts, Nancy Armstrong, and Debra Forrester; five grandchildren, Christine, James, April, Jay, and Kathryn; and three great- grandchildren, Liam, Vivian, and Scarlett.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Richard Griswold and Larry Griswold.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Elmwood. Burial will immediately follow at Elmwood Township Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Farmington Rescue Squad.
