Wesley L. Oliver, 83, of Canton, passed away at 7:13 PM on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at The Loft. He was born on February 22, 1937 in Breeds, IL to John Wesley and Margery Opal (Walters) Oliver. He married Judy Pollitt on December 22, 1956 in Lewistown, IL. She survives.
Also surviving is one son, Brian (Bonnie) Oliver of Canton; two grandchildren, Kristin (Trey) Downs of East Peoria and Ariel Oliver of Canton; two great-grandchildren, Owen and Ellie Downs; and one sister, Virginia DeMoss of Blandinsville, IL.
Wesley was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Avis Dominski.
Wesley worked as a welder for Caterpillar where he retired after 35 years. He was of the Methodist faith. Wesley was a member of the Bowling Association in Canton, IL and was also inducted to the bowling hall of fame in Canton.
