Rickie Clair Lafary, 66, of Lewistown, passed away at 9:25 AM on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at his residence. He was born on September 22, 1954 in Canton, IL to Clair “Bud” Lafary and Donna (Mustread) Paton.
Surviving are three sons, Jacob (Chelsea) Lafary, Jason Lafary, and Josh Lafary; five grandchildren, Jacob Jr., Kadence, Liam, Ryker, and Brianna; one sister, Deanna Whitmer; two nephews, one great-niece, and one great-nephew.
Rickie was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Steve Lafary.
Rickie worked as a truck driver. He loved farming with his dad. Rickie was a great mechanic and loved to work on tractors and vehicles and also loved watching tractor pulls. He loved going mushrooming but most importantly he loved spending time with his sons and his grandchildren who were the joy of his life. He has many friends especially at the Spoon River Towers where he resided.
