Ronnie L. Hulsey Sr., 73, of Cuba, passed away, Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born on June 1, 1947, to Clifton Hulsey and Doris (Derry) Davison. He is preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife Marcia (Clanin), whom he married on September 12, 1969 in Lewistown.
Also surviving is his mother Doris Davison, four children, Sheila (Sam Behymer) Hulsey of Cuba, Ronnie L. (Tammy) Hulsey Jr. of Wisconsin, Michelle (Nelson) Bugos of Norris, and Jason (Vicky) Hulsey of Macomb, one brother Gary (Sharon) Hulsey, sixteen grandchildren, Joshua (Cheyanna), Jacob (Kate), Ryan, Kyle (Jevanie), Tristin, Harley, Conner, Myles, Amanda, Joe, Skyler, Lindsey (Jake), Caleb (Jessica), Cade, Heather, and Max (Danyelle), thirteen great grandchildren, Taylor, Harlee, Lilly, Loxley, Rico, Theo, Gracey, Zavier, Peyton, Lucy, Ella, Macy and Bradley, three sister in laws, Linda (Jim) Lawson, Kathie (Dave) Roate, and Dena Minor, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ronnie worked as a welder for International Harvester for several years, he then farmed with his wife for the last twenty-three years.
Ronnie was a devote Christian he read his Bible daily, and was an active member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Canton.
Ronnie enjoyed golfing, where he was a member at Wee Ma Tuk Hills Country Club. He also enjoyed hunting, farming, spending time with all of his grandchildren, and attending all of their events.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will immediately follow the services at Shield’s Chapel Cemetery.
Due to COVID – 19 Mandates a facial covering will be required, and social distancing will be practiced.
Memorials may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church in Canton.
