Josephine Nina Fish, 107, of Morton, formerly of Canton, passed away at 11:13 PM on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Aperion Care Morton Villa. She was born at home on April 11, 1913 in Brereton, IL to John and Lucy (Libby) Williams. Josephine married Roy E. Ray in 1944 and he passed away in 1949. She then married Harry A. Fish on January 3, 1956, he passed away on May 21, 1992.
She also was preceded in death by her parents, 14 brothers and sisters and their spouses.
She is survived by her son, David (Jan) Ray of East Peoria, her cherished grandchildren, Jason (Angela) Ray of Morton, Matthew Ray of Morton, Erika (Shawn) Dean of Trivoli, Franki (Jeremy) Ruck of Canton, 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Josephine enjoyed cooking, baking, her church, and spending time with her friends and family. They will truly miss her cooking. Josephine shared her talents with many people. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Canton. In addition, she enjoyed volunteering at Graham Hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at White Chapel Memory Gardens. Rev. Kevin VanTine will officiate.
