Jeaneen M. Hardy, 66, of Canton, passed away at 2:31 AM on Friday, December 18, 2020 at her residence. She was born on August 4, 1954 to Robert and Shirley (DeGroot) Smith. She was raised by Edgar M. “Briggs” Seward. She married George Bordner. He preceded her in death.
Jeaneen is also preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by two children, Jeremy Chad (Yvette) Bordner of Glasford, and Erin (Casey) Vaughn of Hanna City; six grandchildren, Jeremy Logan Bordner, Hannah Bordner, Kearstin Bordner, Josiah Bordner, Blake Vaughn, and Cameron Simmons; three brothers, Ron (Susan Morse) Smith, Kelly Smith, and Tim (Staci) Seward; one sister, Roberta Clausen; and many beloved nieces, and nephews.
Jeaneen was a cosmetologist and animal groomer most of her life. She was also an activity director for Emerald Estates and Renaissance Care Center. She enjoyed her girl’s trips, concerts, and karaoke. She really loved being with her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Per Jeaneen’s wish’s cremation rites will be accorded with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Fulton County. To leave online condolences you may go to www.sedgwickfuneralhomes.com
