Randy Benjamin Wooddell, 69, of Canton, passed away at 7:49 PM on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Graham Hospital. He was born on February 1, 1951 in Canton to Paul and June (Jenkins) Wooddell.
Surviving are three children, Maranda L. (Mark) Robinson of Canton, Mathew B. (Jennifer) Wooddell of Hermon, Maine, and Jesse G. (Carissa) Wooddell of Ancona, IL; four grandchildren, Mason Fulton, Kane Fulton, Natalie Fulton, and Madelyn Fulton; one great-granddaughter, River Theyse; one brother, Jon M. (Rebecca) Wooddell of Schererville, IN; sister-in-law, Roslyn Wooddell; one sister, Judith Fayhee of St. Petersburg, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Paul K. Wooddell, Jerry M. (Joan) Wooddell, and Larry B. (Pat) Wooddell; one sister, Emma Lou Wooddell; and one brother-in-law, Patrick Fayhee.
Randy worked as a laborer, foremen, and several other positions, including H&H Track Work and TP & W railroad company.
Burial of ashes will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton, IL. Rev. Kevin Van Tine will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Illinois Cancer Care Foundation.
