Robert A. Vance

Robert A. Vance, 82, of Manito, passed away at Pekin Hospital, at 6:35 a.m., on Sunday, March 1, 2026. He was born February 25, 1944, in Forest City, Illinois, to Ray and Velda (Maus) Vance.

Mr. Vance is survived by three children: Brett Vance, of Spring Lake, Beth Vance, of Creve Coeur, and Mary Jo Vance; seven grandchildren; and one brother, Gary Vance, of Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter: Tammie Ramsey; and five siblings: Skip, Don, Jerry, Larry, and Judy Vance.
Mr. Vance was a lifelong farmer and also enjoyed hunting.
Cremation rites have been accorded and burial will be held at Meadowlawn Cemetery, in Manito, at a later date.
