Virginia Lynch


Cuba- Virginia K. “Ginger” Lynch, 72, of Cuba, passed away at 2:30 PM Thursday May 10, 2018 at Graham Hospital.

She was born January 26, 1946 at Springfield, the daughter of Alva “Al” L. and Helen L. (Tippett) Power. She married Harold Lynch. Survivors include four children, Rod (Debbie) Lynch of Cuba, Ronnie (Jalyn) Lynch of Cissna Park, Susie (Russell) Johnson of Cuba, and Harry (Becky) Lynch of Fiatt, ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two brothers, Ronald D. (Norma) Power of Pana, and Terry L. (Sherrie Leezer) Power of Petersburg, one brother in law, Robert Altig of Greenview, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and three sisters.

Ginger worked as the housekeeping director at the former Canton Nursing Center. She enjoyed being a farm wife, and loved cooking and baking. She enjoyed roller skating, music and dances, and racing horses.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday May 15th at Oakland Cemetery at Petersburg, with Pastor Mike Arnett officiating. Visitation will be held Monday from 5-7 PM at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cass-Putman Rescue Squad.
