Farmington – Barbara Diva Wright, 88, of Farmington, passed away at 4:15 PM on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Farmington Country Manor. She was born on August 8, 1929 in Farmington to John and Alma (Lenzi) Rolando. She married the love of her life, Donald Wright on March 25, 1950 in Canton, IL, they were married for 68 years.
Surviving is her husband, Donald; three children, Toni (Ed) Passmore of Farmington, Diana (Wiley) Siepel of Franklin, TN, and Darren (Gina) Wright of Farmington; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Gloria McKeever of OK.
Diva was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Bud and Johnny Rolando, and one sister, Joanne Greenfield.
Diva worked with her husband at Queen Castle Dairy and Wright’s Clothing Store. She was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church in Farmington and was also very active in Junior Women’s Club.
Services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Farmington, IL. Deacon Gary Schultz will officiate. Burial will follow the services at Oakridge Cemetery in Farmington, IL. A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the funeral home.
