Canton – Susan K. Nolan, 74, of
Canton died at 8:54 a.m. on Sunday, May 8, 2016, at her home.
She was born October 26, 1941, in
Canton to Robert and Eva (Jacobus) Moorhouse.
She married Robert V. Nolan on August 31, 1978. He preceded her in death on August 17, 2011.
She is survived by two children,
Lyn Donaho of Canton and Mike Spenny of Orlando, FL; one granddaughter, LaNaya
(Eli Balestri) Donaho; and four great-grandchildren, Chloe and Caleb Ellis and
Eliza and McKenna Balestri.
Susan was a former employee of
the Fulton County Highway Department and former owner of Duck Island Sand and
Gravel in Liverpool. She was an avid
golfer and was a member of Wee-Ma-Tuk Hills Country Club. She enjoyed playing card games and played in
two local card clubs. She was also a
member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
Cremation rites have been
accorded. Private services will be held
at a later date.
Memorials in her memory may be
made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
