Anna M. Barrick

Cuba- Anna M. Barrick, 67, of Cuba, passed away at 7:25 PM Sunday May 1, 2016 in Cuba surrounded by her family.

She was born March 25, 1949 at Canton the daughter of Joe E. and Naomi (Beadles) Williamson. She married Kenneth L. Barrick on November 30, 1968 at Cuba. He survives with two sons, Montgomery (Kim) Barrick of Mapleton, and Charles (Jennifer) Barrick of Cuba, five granddaughters, Heather, Hannah, Haley, Emma, and Edie, three sisters, Jean Kozelichki of Canton, Virginia (P.J.) Fazzino of Spring Valley, AZ; and Cinda (Bill) Richardson of Pekin. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Joyce, and one brother in law, Marion.

Anna graduated from Spoon River College LPN nursing program. She worked for HCR Manor Care in Peoria and several other nursing homes over the years. She was a member of the Cuba Nazarene Church where she played the piano and was the youth choir leader. She loved cooking and baking, especially holiday candies. Having her granddaughters in the kitchen with her was a thrill to her.

Services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday at the Cuba Church of the Nazarene with Reverend Larry Wright officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5-7 PM at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba and also one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Wiley Cemetery at rural Ellisville.
