Sandi Russell

Canton – Sandi K. Russell, 67, of Canton passed away at 5:15 PM Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Unity Point – Methodist in Peoria.

She was born June 8, 1947 in Canton to Charles and Leila (Eveland) Fisher.

Sandi married Jack L. Russell on January 18, 1973.  He survives.

Also surviving are three children, Tammy Russell of Cuba, Brenda Russell of Canton, and Kelly Russell of Canton; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one brother, Steven Fisher; one sister, Jeretta Chatterton of Canton; and many nieces and nephews.

She had a special relationship with her niece and nephew, Courtney and Lucas Chatterton, who called her Auntie Gram.  She had many others who called her Grandma.

Preceding her in death were her parents and three brothers, Everett, George, and Charles Fisher.

Sandi worked as a CNA in various places in the Peoria area.                                        

She had great love for her family and her animals.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Per her request, there will be no services.

Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home, Canton is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Fulton County Humane Society.
