Canton - Hildreth L. “Hilda”
Nebergall, 88, of Canton, passed away at 4:13 PM Friday, February 13, 2015 at
Sunset Manor, Canton.
She was born in Canton on November
19, 1926 to Henry B. and Fern (Harper) Lingenfelter.
Surviving are three children, Steven
(Sherrie) Nebergall of St. David, Kenneth (Cynthia) Nebergall of Canton, and
Sharon (Rick) Bosserman of Lewistown; nine grandchildren, Stephanie Ward, Stacy
Zukowski, Summer Yost, Stefanie Harger, Tim Roberts, Ryan Roberts, Aaron
Nebergall, Jacob Nebergall, and Ian Bosserman; eight great-grandchildren; and
one brother, Lawrence Monroe Lingenfelter of Mt. Pleasant, IA.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; two children, Larry Nebergall and Janis Nebergall; one brother; and
four sisters, Betty Helterbran, Helen Willis, June Jennings, and Ferna Garner.
She graduated from Lockridge High
School in Lockridge, IA.
Hilda worked at Admiral, in
Galesburg, as a laborer for 23 years. She also worked at several nursing homes
and local restaurants. She volunteered at Love Incorporated and was a
foster grandparent.
She was a member of the First Church
of the Nazarene, Canton.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM
Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the First Church of the Nazarene, where
visitation will be held two hours prior. Pastor Jim Bledsaw will
officiate. Burial will follow at High Bridge Cemetery, Dunfermline.
