William E. Heath, 79, of Havana passed away at 5:03 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Mason District Hospital in Havana. He was born on June 2, 1943 in Fulton County, Illinois to Garry and Naomi (Brehm) Heath. He married Alice Jean Force in Summum, Illinois on November 22, 1963.William is survived by his wife, Alice Heath of Havana; daughter, Kathryn (Sam) Dancer of Jacksonville, Illinois; son, Cory (Suzanne) Heath of Lewisberg, Pennsylvania; one grandchild, Joshua; and siblings, Eldon Heath of Canton and Shirley Tyler of Napa, California. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and one sister.
William was a member of the Havana Church of Christ. He worked for International Harvester until his retirement. After he retired, he worked as a carpenter and handyman in the Havana area.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Pastor Bill Boyce will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made in William’s name to the Christian Motorcycle Association’s Run for the Son. Online condolences can be left for his family at www.hurleyfh.com.
