Gary L. "Schnauzer" Pemberton

Gary L. "Schnauzer" Pemberton, 73, of Havana, IL, passed away at 1:15 PM on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Havana Health Care in Havana, IL. He was born on April 13, 1950, a son of Elvin and Carol (Meyer) Pemberton. He married Diana Graham on September 25, 1999, in Havana, IL. She survives.

Also surviving Gary are his two children, Heidi Pemberton of Astoria and Brittney (Nick) Lundeen of Waterman, IL; and four grandchildren, Zain Pemberton, Jace Pemberton, Lincoln Lundeen, and Easton Lundeen.

He was preceded in death by both parents; and his brother, Mark Pemberton.

Gary worked at Caterpillar Inc. as an assembly worker for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed watching The St. Louis Cardinals, going to auctions, collecting antiques, watching re-runs and westerns, and having a beer with his buddies. He was also a very proud PaPa to his grandchildren.

Graveside services for Gary will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown, IL. A Celebration of life will be held at the VFW in Havana, IL the same day following the service at noon.
